Home again…

Taking the bus back to Launceston to fly out...the Westbury Newell's farm! It was weird to take the bus along roads I had cycled. See you next year Jeannette!

Guangzhou, China and an 8 hour layover. They kindly gave us all a free hotel room and food voucher, but by the time we were all rounded up we had a whole 3 hours to enjoy the room and food.

hardly any snow left, but the weather is doing it's usual schizophrenic spring activities....snow, rain, melt, snow...It is nice to be home and spend some time by myself. One thing about traveling alone is that one is rarely alone! Thank you Tasmania for your awesome hills, wonderful hospitality and great beer!

    Welcome back!

It was really wonderful to follow your blog.

Ironically, you were in my thoughts yesterday as i followed a mayo recipe you had written for me on a pub coaster way back when you lived here in Victoria.

It was my FIRST attempt and a bit if a failure: i needed mire exact measurements in the salt/pepper/pwd. mustard! Next time will only get better…

I bet there were a few tears as you left Taz, the place and your experience there looked THAT awesome. I’m so glad you’re back safe and sound, time to stretch your toes and enjoy your sweet, sweet abode. xx
