I went to wash my bike in the river and lo and behold!!
More stone house love…
Buckland church at dusk
Evening view from my campsite
The other bartender in the Bucklnad Pub, Steve, cry kindly let me have a shower and use the kitchen, then drove me around the countyside. This is a sandstone house let go to ruin. Steve got a lot of blackberries!
Nice free campsite behind the pub, dinner without G&G!
Another country sandstone ruin. So dismaying, as I know all the stones were cut by hand.

    1. it is actually very forested and the mountains (hills) are rather steep. When I lie in bed at night I can see the outline of the muscle at the top of my thigh….I have not seen that for 10 years!!
